Is This Goodbye?

The day you went away I guided you to the boat. My heart was filled with sorrow but I made an effort to show you some hope, some trust in you. I guessed some tears had felt anyway.

And we kissed like it was the last time… It tasted like it was the last time…

The other wives were waving at the beach, but I, I ran to the highest mountain… To the deepest edge… To the whitest cliff…

…I watched you go. I watched you watching me from below!

And I knew, I knew my love I would never see you again and still I had let you go! I waved goodbye… and my lips had flown one last time to touch your face…

Until the horizon was empty… and the emptiness has taken over me…
